How quickly can you get a surveyor to me?

We can normally get an engineer to you within the same day.

What happens if my stairlift breaks down?

Please call our Emergency number 01202 873735 and we can arrange an engineer to be with you as soon as possible.

Do you supply all types of stairlift?

We can supply most types of stairlift

Do you offer stairlift installation services?

Yes, we offer stairlift installation services. We have a team of experienced and certified installers who will be able to safely and efficiently install your stairlift. We will work with you to schedule a time that is convenient for you, and we will make sure that the installation process is as smooth and hasslefree as possible.

Can you repair most types of stairlift?

Yes, we can repair most types of stairlift.

Do I have to pay VAT on a stairlift?

Products which are specifically designed to be used to relieve the symptoms of a chronic illness or disability qualify for VAT exemption under the VAT Act 1994 – these are clearly indicated. Old Age does not qualify for VAT relief. Speak to a member of our team for more information.

Are your engineers qualified?

Our Engineers are NVQ qualified

Are there weight restrictions for a stairlift?

Yes, between 19 + 25 Stone

Are there any structural modifications needed before installing a lift?

Not Normally

Is there any permanent damage when installing one of these lifts?

Not Normally. Stairlifts are fitted to the floor treads of the stairs and not the wall

About how long does it take to fully install one of these lifts in my home?

A straight stairlift can take between 1 – 3 hours and a curved stairlift between 3 – 4  hours

Are you local Authority approved?

We are local authority approved

Do you sell reconditioned stairlifts apart from new?

Yes, we can offer a wide range of reconditioned stairlifts, used stairlifts and second hand stairlifts across Bournemouth and surrounding areas. All our used stairlifts are refurbished and checked to ensure they adhere to the same safety and quality standards as newly manufactured stairlifts

Can you offer a rental service?

We offer both Short and Long term rental on straight and curved stairlifts.

What power is required?

A 13 amp Socket is required for a charging unit. We can arrange for a plug to be put close to the unit upon request.

Do you take Credit Cards?

Yes, all major Cards are accepted.
