tread by means of simple brackets.
Q. Do they go fast?
A. No it would take you up an average
fight of stairs in 30 seconds.
Q. Does it take up a lot of electricity?
A. No the current is approximately 2
amps.
Q. What happens if there is a power cut?
A. The alternative is to install a battery
powered stairlift.
Q. Are they quiet?
A. Yes they are quiet and smooth.
Q. Can it go around corners?
A. Yes these are specially made stairlifts
to suit your staircase.
Q. What if I have problems getting on/off the
stairlift?
A. The majority of modern stairlifts
have a swivel seat to assist you at the top of the stairs.
Q. What if I have a door or a walkway at the bottom
of the stairs?
A. A hinged/folding track can be provided
at an extra charge to avoid any trip hazard.
Q. We have a narrow staircase, would a stairlift
fit?
A. We have a manufacturer who can supply
a slimline stairlift as narrow as 700mm.
Q. Do they come in different colours?
A. There is an extensive range of colours
on most models.
